Who Are We?The Maryland Fire and Explosives Investigators Association (MFEIA) is a non-profit corporation that serves the fire investigation community across the middle Atlantic Region by providing training and educational opportunities for our members and encouraging information sharing and networking with other professionals in the fire investigation community. MFEIA members include professionals from the fire service, law enforcement and the private sector. The MFEIA is also Chapter #53 (Maryland & District of Columbia) of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). MEMBERSHIP Chapter membership is open to fire and explosives investigators, fire service professionals, and approved affiliates who support the mission of the association. | TRAINING & EVENTS MFEIA hosts regular training sessions, meetings, and educational events focused on fire and explosives investigation. Events are open to members and, where applicable, non-members. Registration is available online, with member pricing offered for eligible events. |
